UPCOMING GATHERINGS

EXPLORING INTERCONNECTION

A mindful, creative + reflective community gathering

📍 Tom Riley Park – 2 Aberfoyle Crescent (by Islington Subway Station)
🗓 TBD

2:00–3:30 PM
🎨 All ages welcome

Join us for an afternoon of connection and reflection in nature. We’ll begin with a gentle mindfulness practice to tune into our senses and the theme of interconnection—how we relate to the land, each other, and the wider web of life.

Through shared reflection, art-making, and writing, we’ll explore what it means to live in reciprocity with the earth. Together, we’ll imagine small, collective actions that honour our creative discoveries!

We’ll close with a mindful gratitude practice—for the land, our community, and ourselves.

🎒 Art supplies, water, and snacks will be provided — please bring your own reusable water bottle!

GATHERINGS - FAQ

What are the naturembodied community gatherings?

Each month, weather permitting we set up under a shade tree (or a cozy spot indoors) we gather in close connection with nature to explore creativity, mindfulness, and reflection.

Who are these gatherings for?

All are welcome — individuals, families, and friends of all ages. Whether you’re an artist, writer, or simply someone who feels at home in nature, these gatherings are a space to slow down, create, and reconnect.

What should I bring?

Art supplies, water, and snacks are provided — just bring your own reusable water bottle!
You’re also welcome to bring a favourite journal or anything that inspires you to be creative.

Who leads the gatherings?

Hi, I’m Keaton — an early childhood educator, trauma-sensitive yoga and meditation guide, artist, tarot and astrology reader, and the creator of naturembodied.com. This project is both a community gathering based practice and a way of life for me. Through slow, continued bonding with nature—inside and out—I seek to live with integrity and remind myself (and others) that we are nature embodied.

Is it free to join?

Yes! All gatherings are free and open to everyone. Save your spot by filling out the form above or connecting on social media.

What happens to the artwork and writing we create?

With permission, Keaton documents participants’ work and reflections to share highlights on the diary page. This growing archive celebrates our shared creative process and the evolving story of our community’s connection with nature.

What is the "diary" page?

The diary is both a reflection space and a living record. It includes documentation from our gatherings, community artwork and quotes, and Keaton’s own fragments of writing, art, and research. It’s dedicated to everyone who cherishes nature and wants to explore self-understanding through creative expression — guided by the truth that we, too, are nature.

Why do these gatherings matter?

Nature connectedness is at the heart of every environmental issue we face. By nurturing our relationship with nature through art, mindfulness, and reflection, we build empathy, care, and community—the roots of meaningful change.
